HOW CAN I HELP?

Although money is a necessity, it is not the only thing needed to keep Safe Haven going. We need YOU!

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
There are many ways to volunteer at Safe Haven.
There are simple things that can be done such as helping at adoption days, organizing fundraisers, cleaning kennels, bathing animals, etc.

FOSTER
One of the greatest ways to volunteer for Safe Haven is to be a Foster Parent. Because our shelter is not yet built, all of our animals are cared for in foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more pets we can save.
Being a Foster Parent is a big responsibility and is not to be taken lightly. Safe Haven provides all of the necessary items to take care of the animals. (kennels, food, veterinary care, etc...) The foster parents must provide the animals with proper care and make sure the day to day needs of the pets are met. They need food, water, daily exercise, love and companionship.
